The 2008 Contest for Beautiful Hungarian Books competition was organized by The Hungarian Publishers and Booksellers Association for books which were produced in Hungary, or an ethnic Hungarian printing house and distributed in bookshops in 2008. The award-giving ceremony opened in the Cultural Center of Aranytíz on 4 June 2009.
